Dear Internet Friends,

Please consider donating to this very very worthwhile cause:
Providence Comics Consortium provides **free** comics classes to kids through the city’s public libraries; they also invite adult comic artists, such as myself, to collaborate with the kids, and put all the work together into really beautiful risographed books.
They’re raising money for a big anthology, which my work will be featured in, along with the work of some of my friends and AND, amazingly, some of my comics heroes.
Here is the link to the kickstarter! Please think about chipping in a couple bucks!

"What the best and wisest parent wants for his own child, that must the community want for all of its children. Any other ideal for our schools is narrow and unlovely; acted upon, it destroys our democracy."

Cover and spread from the zine I just finished telling the story of the project I’ve been working on, asking kids to talk and draw about what they’d like to see change in their schools.

Do you want one? I will mail you one for free if you agree to write me back with your thoughts.

And to everyone who originally sent requests for my gender zine, sorry for the delay!! I decided to go back and hand letter it, but it’s almost done and I think I still have your addresses….
